Departure of Director and Officer
On July 31, 2012, Mr. George Hartman, a Director and the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Registrant, announced his retirement as a Director and Officer of the Company effective September 15, 2012. Mr. Hartman is not resigning as the result of any disputes, claims or issues with the Registrant.

On August 1, 2012, the Registrant issued the attached news release entitled “Uranerz’ George Hartman to Retire”.
