Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 23, 2007, the Company issued a press release titled Team of Acadia Realty Trust, Macfarlane Partners, P/A Associates and Paul Travis Signs Agreement to Acquire The Gallery At Fulton Street. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
On February 26, 2007, the Company issued a press release announcing that it has received a cash distribution totaling approximately $8.5 million from its investment interest in Albertsons LLC. The distribution represents the Companys share of the approximately $42.4 million distribution made with respect to Acadia and its subsidiaries investment in its Retailer Controlled Property Venture. The distribution resulted from cash proceeds obtained by Albertsons LLC in connection with its disposition of certain operating stores and a refinancing of the remaining assets held in the entity.
