Section 8 - Other Events

On June 5, 2008, Argan, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Gemma Power Systems, LLC, entered into a partnership with Invenergy Wind Management, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, for the design and construction of wind farms located in the Mid-Western region of the United States into Canada. A copy of the press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
