Item 8.01 Other Events.

On January 14, 2008, Regeneration Technologies, Inc. and Tutogen Medical, Inc. issued a press release announcing, among other things, that each company has set February 27, 2008 for its special meeting of stockholders to vote on the proposed merger of the two companies. The record date for the special meetings of stockholders is January 16, 2008. In addition, the companies announced that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, applicable to the proposed merger of the two companies expired on January 7, 2008.
