On March 31, 2005, Championship Auto Racing Teams, Inc. issued a press release
announcing that its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended
December 31, 2004, cannot be completed by the filing deadline of March 31, 2005.
A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is
incorporated herein by reference.
