On December 29, 2005, Championship Auto Racing Teams, Inc. issued a press
release announcing the stockholder approval of the Company's Plan of Liquidation
and Dissolution, the filing of the Company's Certificate of Dissolution with the
Delaware Secretary of State and the approval by the Company's Board of Directors
of a distribution to stockholders. A copy of the press release is attached
hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
