On June 6, 2005, Salem Communications Corporation issued a press release announcing its participation at the Deutsche Bank Media/Telecom Conference on June 8, 2005.  Additionally, the company increased its net broadcasting revenue guidance for the fiscal quarter ending June 30, 2005.

SALEM COMMUNICATIONS UPDATES SECOND QUARTER 2005 REVENUE GUIDANCE;

Company to Present at the Deutsche Bank 13th Annual Media/Telecom Conference in New York

CAMARILLO, Calif. June 6, 2005--Salem Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:SALM), the leading radio broadcaster focused on Christian and family-themed programming, today announced an increase in its revenue guidance for the second quarter of 2005. Specifically, the company is projecting net broadcasting revenue of between $51.1 million and $51.6 million, a $0.2 million increase from its previous guidance provided on May 5, 2005.  Salem continues to project net broadcasting revenue growth in the mid to high single digits and same station net broadcasting revenue growth in the mid single digits.

In addition, the company announced that it will present at the Deutsche Bank 13th Annual Media/Telecom Conference to be held at The Pierre Hotel, Monday, June 6 - Wednesday, June 8, 2005 in New York, NY.

Edward G. Atsinger III, president and chief executive officer, and David A.R. Evans, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will present at 3:30 pm ET on Wednesday, June 8. The presentation will be audio webcast live, with accompanying slides, and then will be available for replay for 30 days.
