Item 5.02.           Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On October 1, 2007, Dr. Randall W. Powell, President and Chief Operating Officer of FutureFuel Chemical Company, the wholly-owned subsidiary of FutureFuel Corp., retired.  Other senior managers at FutureFuel Chemical Company will assume Dr. Powell’s management responsibilities.
