Rebranding in Macedonia

 

Budapest — April 17, 2008 — Magyar Telekom (Reuters: NYSE: MTA.N, BÉT: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: NYSE: MTA US, BÉT: MTELEKOM HB), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, today announced that Maktel (Makedonski Telekomunikacii AD), Macedonia’s leading fixed line and mobile service provider and member of the Magyar Telekom Group, is to change its name to Makedonski Telekom AD and introduce the T-Home brand.  The rebranding is expected to be completed in May 2008.
