On November 27, 2013, The First Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) received notice from Michael W. Chancellor announcing his resignation from the Company’s board of directors due to the growth of his business and requirements of the bank, effective December 1, 2013. The Board wishes to express its appreciation for Mr. Chancellor’s service and wishes him well in his future endeavors. The Board does not expect to fill Mr. Chancellor’s seat on the Board at this time.
