On October 17, 2006, Pegasystems Inc. issued a press release announcing certain preliminary results for the third quarter of 2006 and that it expects to delay the filing of its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the third quarter of 2006 due to a review of its accounting. A copy of such press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
