Item 8.01 - Other Events

On February 23, 2010, Uranium Energy Corp. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that it has received a technical report in compliance with National Instrument 43-101 of the Canadian Securities Administrators, Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects ("NI 43-101") regarding the Company's Palangana Project located in Duval County, Texas. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1

The complete Palangana Project NI 43-101 Technical Report will be filed and available shortly on the SEDAR website, at www.sedar.com, and on the Company's website at www.uraniumenergy.com. The Technical Report is authored by SRK Consulting (U.S.), Inc., a mining consulting firm with headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
