TRANSACTION AGREEMENT
PARIS, France and AMSTELVEEN, The Netherlands October 16, 2003 Air France and KLM announce that they have signed today the final transaction agreement, announced on September 30, 2003, which transaction Air France and KLM expect to lead to the creation of Europes leading airline group through a share exchange offer by Air France for KLM common shares. The terms of the transaction are the same as the ones announced on September 30, 2003.
