Item 5.02(d) – Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.
Sunlin Chou, Ph.D. was appointed to the Board of Directors of Rambus Inc. as a Class I director, effective March 27, 2006. The Board of Directors has not yet determined on which committee(s) Dr. Chou will serve.
Dr. Chou served for thirty-four years at Intel Corporation before retiring in 2005 as a Senior Vice President. He was General Manager of Intel’s Technology and Manufacturing Group from 1998 to 2005. Dr. Chou holds a B.S., M.S. and E.E. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
