“América Móvil’s General Shareholders’ Assembly Approves Extraordinary Dividend”
MEXICO CITY (MEXICO), December 13, 2005. América Móvil, S.A. de C.V. (América Móvil) [BMV: AMX] [NYSE: AMX] [NASDAQ: AMOV] [LATIBEX: XAMXL], announced today its General Shareholders’ Assembly has approved the payment of an extraordinary dividend of $0.30 Mexican pesos in a single installment, to each of the series “AA”, “A” and “L” shares representative of the capital stock of the company. Given the number of shares outstanding, the company will pay out a total of 10.7 billion Mexican pesos. The dividend payment will take place on December 23, 2005.
