On May 13, 2016, Lam Research Corporation (the “Company”) distributed a press release regarding its receipt of a request for additional information and documentary material (commonly referred to as a “Second Request”) from the U.S. Department of Justice related to the Company’s regulatory filings in connection with its proposed merger with KLA-Tencor Corporation.
