ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
The ATWOOD EAGLE continues
to work offshore Australia under a multi-well contract with BHP Billiton Petroleum
(“BHPB”). BHPB has now exercised all of their options whereby this contract
could now extend into early April 2008. Immediately following the completion of the
BHPB contract, the rig will drill one well for ENI Spa AGIP Exploration &
Productions Division (expected to take 45 days to complete) and then commence a
two-year drilling program for Woodside Energy Ltd. (“Woodside”). The
Woodside contract may not commence until May 2008. The rig is also expected to incur
ten to fourteen zero rate days during the first quarter of fiscal year 2008 for
required regulatory inspections and planned maintenance.
