(1) | Option was granted in connection with (i) Addendum No. 8 to the Employment Agreement by and between Universal Insurance Holdings, Inc. ("Universal") and Bradley I. Meier that, among other things, extended the term of Mr. Meier's employment agreement to December 31, 2009 and (ii) the related Non-Qualified Stock Option Agreement by and between Universal and Mr. Meier, each dated July 12, 2007. |
