Is it anticipated that any significant change in results of operations from the corresponding period for the last fiscal year will be reflected by the earnings statements to be included in the subject report or portion thereof? | ||||
x Yes o No | |||||
If so, attach an explanation of the anticipated change, both narratively and quantitatively, and, if appropriate, state the reasons why a reasonable estimate of the results cannot be made.
Based on the Registrant’s preliminary analysis, it anticipates reporting net income of $2.5 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, compared to net income of $6.3 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. The difference
was primarily due to a $1.9 million increase in the provision for loan losses and a $1.7 million special FDIC insurance assessment. In addition, it is anticipated that net income for the six months ended June 30, 2009 will be $22.4 million as compared to a loss of $8.8 million for the six months ended June 30, 2008.
