Item 8.01 Other Events
On August 19, 2009, Lancaster Colony Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release
announcing that its annual meeting will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Hilton Columbus
at Easton at 11:00 a.m. with a record date of Friday, September 18, 2009 for notice and voting at
the meeting.
The Company’s Board of Directors approved a quarterly cash dividend of 28.5 cents per share on
the Company’s common stock, to be paid on September 30, 2009 to shareholders of record on September
10, 2009.
A copy of a press release issued by the Company is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
