      On March 9, 2005, Callon Petroleum Company issued the press release attached as Exhibit 99.1 providing information regarding the company’s operating results for the three-month period and the year ended December 31, 2004.

      As disclosed in a press release dated March 7, 2005 attached as Exhibit 99.2, the company announced that its conference call reporting fourth quarter and full year 2004 results would be held on Thursday, March 10, 2005 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time.
