On March 14, 2006, Callon Petroleum Company issued the press release attached as Exhibit 99.1
providing information regarding the company’s operating results for the fourth quarter and the year
ended December 31, 2005.
As disclosed in a press release dated March 7, 2006 attached as Exhibit 99.2, the company
announced that its conference call reporting fourth quarter and full-year 2005 results would be
held on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time.
