20-year industry veteran and SimCorp Dimension® expert to drive full-scale investment operations transformation services

Meradia, a global leader in consulting for investment operations and technology, has hired Brian J. Lollar as Managing Director. In this role, Lollar will support the firm’s full scope of investment operations transformation projects and advance Meradia’s penetration into multiple industry segments including institutional asset management, pension funds, insurance companies, OCIO, endowments and foundations and wealth managers.

Lollar has proven expertise across front-, middle-, and back-office operations, data management and with the SimCorp Dimension® software, in particular. Prior to joining Meradia, Lollar served as Senior Manager in Accenture’s Capital Markets practice. In that capacity, he was Accenture’s Global SimCorp Lead and oversaw multiple platform implementations and business transformation projects.

“Asset managers and asset owners continue to evolve their operating models. Platform vendors and service providers are expanding their offerings to provide full front-to-back capabilities. For 25 years, Meradia has delivered transformation projects in our clients’ front-, middle- and back-offices,” said Scott A. Wybranski, CFA, Meradia’s President and CEO. “Brian's deep understanding of the entire investment operations lifecycle allows Meradia to broaden our legacy services enabling our clients to benefit from more holistic solutions.”

In addition to his six-year tenure with Accenture, Lollar served as Manager of Investment Accounting & Transfer Agency Technology for Janus Henderson Investors. He was also President of SimCorp North American User Group where he established a detailed understanding of the platform’s user experience as well as the nuances of SimCorp’s client base.

“Throughout my career, I’ve seen firms misdiagnose business operations issues as technology issues,” said Lollar. “Having solved these challenges for Janus Henderson and as a consultant to many other firms, I understand how to execute effective business transformation and look forward to supporting Meradia’s global portfolio of clients.”
