melin is sending a portion of A-Game sales to support Florida recovery efforts

Today melin is announcing its commitment to help Florida rebuild and recover after the devastating and deadly aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Through October 31, melin will send a portion of proceeds from each A-Game hat sale to the Volunteer Florida organization to assist in recovery efforts and support everyone who calls Florida home. In the first seven days of October, melin consumers have helped raise thousands of dollars to assist through this program, and the brand family hopes that much more can be accomplished by the end of the month.

Hurricane Ian struck Florida as a furious Category 4 hurricane. The widespread destruction hits home for melin as the extent of the devastation becomes apparent. Florida is part of melin’s DNA. Whether the melin crew is fishing, surfing, golfing, running the boardwalks or just spending time on epic beaches and hanging in its diverse communities, Florida is part of the melin Family. Pro wakeboarder and golfer Steel Lafferty, melin’s long-time Family Ambassador, was born and raised in Florida.

For Lafferty, it’s difficult to comprehend the mass destruction in his home state. “To see our Florida communities dealing with the tragedies is just heartbreaking for everyone. But to see people stepping up, especially my melin crew, to help those in need – is special. It’s that kind of Family that makes hard times like this easier to deal with.”

melin is committed to rebuild one of its favorite places and support all those in need. With every purchase of an A-Game hat, melin will send a portion of proceeds to the Volunteer Florida organization. To support the mission, don’t miss out on grabbing a signature hat from the A-Game collection.
