Reporting to BAE Systems, Inc. President and CEO Tom Arseneault, Loeffler will serve as the supply chain leader across the organization. He will also serve as a member of the BAE Systems, Inc. senior leadership team.

Loeffler will lead the company's supply chain organization, driving strategy, execution and program delivery in support of all Inc. businesses, and ensure the supply chain remains strong, resilient and positioned to deliver on its commitments to customers.

Loeffler succeeds Brad Pelachyk, who is now serving as the senior vice president and chief global supply chain officer for BAE Systems plc.

"Michael's leadership and expertise will position our supply chain team to continue advancing the growth and success of our business," said Arseneault. "His deep experience across defense programs and enterprise-scale operations makes him an outstanding addition to our team, and I look forward to the impact he will have for our people, our programs and the customers we serve."

Loeffler brings more than two decades of leadership experience across aerospace and defense, most recently as vice president of global supply chain & logistics at Bell. Prior to Bell, he held supply chain roles at L3Harris, GE Aviation and Boeing. Before entering the aerospace industry, Loeffler served as a submariner in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Kentucky and later as a staff instructor at the Navy Nuclear Power Training Command.

Loeffler holds a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel, and a Master of Engineering in engineering management from Old Dominion University.
