Silicon Integration Initiative has announced the winners of the annual Power of Partnerships Award, which recognizes the Si2 volunteer teams that have made the most significant contributions to the success of the electronic design automation industry.

In 2026, the POP award was presented to the LLM Benchmarking Coalition Leadership Team for embracing the vision of a comprehensive benchmark suite and leaderboard to advance the EDA and chip design industry through LLMs and agentic flows. They propose new actions based on industry and academic trends and best practices, actively recruit new members companies and universities and promote participation through LBC workshops and industry conference presence.

The LLM Benchmarking Team includes:

  • Nathaniel Pinckney, NVIDIA
  • Chinmay Hegde, New York University
  • Ramesh Narayanaswamy, Synopsys
  • Ehsan Degan, IBM

Launched in 2019, the Power of Partnerships award program “is a testament to the power of collaboration in our industry,” said Robert Aslett, Si2 president and CEO. “It spotlights the essential role that volunteer teams play in Si2’s continuing success.”
