New Jersey - Patrick Robertelli, a distinguished Teamsters Union driver and committed family man, contemplates the journey that has forged his identity, characterized by diligence, fidelity, and profound community connections.
Robertelli's narrative exemplifies persistence, honesty, and steadfast dedication to both his job and family, forged over decades in the transportation sector and marked by a significant local community involvement.
Patrick was born and reared in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, in a close-knit family with two brothers and a sister. “My upbringing imparted essential lessons on collaboration and responsibility,” Robertelli states. The first teachings from my parents established the basis for my attitude to life.
After finishing high school, Patrick went to work as a driver for the Teamsters Union, moving trucks and other equipment for movies and TV shows. He was a heart to the entertainment industry’s logistics because of his work, and people knew them for being reliable and dedicated.
“For me, membership in the Teamsters transcended mere employment; it embodied pride,” he states. “A camaraderie exists within the union.” We unite, assist one another, and perform well under pressure. I will always be thankful for that companionship.
In search of a supportive community for a growing family, Patrick and his wife selected Holmdel, New Jersey, as the place to settle down after he retired from the US Coast Guard. They have raised two children in Holmdel with many of the same values that guided Patrick's way of life. He is still an active father with family dinners, school activities, and family outdoor time.
Patrick enjoys boating, fishing, and golf, which brings balance to his busy life and connects him to nature and family. "Life is about more than work and creating moments. It's about being grounded," he said.
Alongside his personal and professional endeavors, Robertelli is profoundly dedicated to community involvement. He consistently endorsed local organizations, engaged in kids' sports activities, and volunteers at food drives around Monmouth County. His efforts demonstrate a subtle but profound commitment to service.
Reflecting on his path, Patrick Robertelli recognizes the importance of being authentic to oneself. Patrick states that “it is not all about your union, your family or neighborhood; what matters is that you show up every day with integrity."
