Belgium's Wanderlust Opens 2026 Season With Private Cross-Border Day Tours

Premium private day-tour company Belgium's Wanderlust has opened bookings for its 2026 season of one-day guided experiences for international travelers. The lineup is led by a flagship cross-border tour that crosses three borders in a single day, taking guests from Belgium into Germany and the Netherlands and back to Brussels after dinner. Founder Joris D. guides every booking personally, with each tour limited to one private party.

GHENT, BELGIUM - May 26, 2026 - Belgium's Wanderlust, the founder-led private day-tour company based in Ghent, has opened bookings for its 2026 season of curated single-day experiences for international travelers. The season runs May through October and is led by a flagship tour that crosses three borders in a single day, taking guests from Belgium into Germany and the Netherlands before returning to Brussels for dinner.

Belgium's Wanderlust positions itself against the standard coach-tour model that dominates the Belgian inbound market. Founder Joris D., a native of Flanders and the company's sole guide, leads every booking himself. Each tour is limited to one private party. There are no shared seats, no fixed group itineraries, and no add-on upsells. Every booking includes door-to-door pickup from Brussels-area hotels, lunch at a vetted restaurant, snacks and drinks throughout the day, and a route that adapts to the guests rather than to a bus schedule.

The 2026 lineup is headlined by the Crossing Borders Three Country Tour, which combines the Belgian river city of Liege, the German imperial capital of Aachen, and the Dutch waterside town of Maastricht into a single day. Other tours include Bruges, Ghent, Dinant and the Meuse Valley, and the Ypres battlefield circuit in West Flanders. Each is sold as a private experience, typically nine to eleven hours from pickup to drop-off.

"American travelers tell me the same thing when they get out of the car at the end of the day," said Joris D., founder of Belgium's Wanderlust. "They expected a tour. They got a country, or three of them, the way a local sees it. That is the experience I built the company to deliver. One car, one guide, your party only."

Bookings for the 2026 season are open at www.belgiumswanderlust.be and through partner platforms including Viator.
