Walker has practiced law for 25 years, focusing on personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. Walker has also won the 2026 Medical Malpractice "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers®. He has been included in The Best Lawyers in America® list since 2017 and has been named to Virginia Super Lawyers annually since 2013. He holds an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the organization's highest rating for ethical standards and legal ability.
Over the course of his career, Walker has represented clients in cases involving wrongful death, tractor-trailer collisions, traumatic brain injuries, nursing home negligence and medical malpractice. His case results include a $6.5 million verdict in a tractor-trailer collision case involving a traumatic brain injury, a $5.5 million wrongful death verdict in a medical malpractice case involving a failure to diagnose a pulmonary embolism, and a $2 million verdict in a medical malpractice case involving a retained surgical object.
Walker joined Allen & Allen in 2015 as a trial attorney and became a shareholder in 2019. Previously, he was a partner at Breit, Drescher, Imprevento & Walker and a litigation associate at both Breit, Drescher & Imprevento and Durrette Bradshaw PLC. He is a graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law and the College of William and Mary.
Beyond his work at the firm, Walker is active in organizations representing plaintiffs' attorneys. He is past president of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and serves on the Executive Committee of the American Association for Justice as Secretary.
