LONDON, UK / ACCESS Newswire / May 29, 2025 / Ecogensus, a leading company in sustainable resources, today announced the successful signing of a license agreement that has been in development for 5 years. This agreement will allow Ecogensus to help drive the resource revolution in the United Kingdom by implementing advanced technologies and using transformative solutions to capture a significant percentage of the regional waste market.
"This license agreement will build on the previous successful environmental permitting for the Rhino equipment in the UK, which supercharges operations by eliminating a large cost center (residual waste disposal) and converting it to an additional revenue generator (Rhino output products), and bring together a London Stock Exchange listed offtake partner." said Frank Harris, Global Head of Rhino Recyclers at Ecogensus. "This will provide the licensee with a fast pathway to capture a significant share of 13 million metric tons of wasted secondary household resources that are landfilled each year in the UK."
The agreement also requires the licensee to scale operations in the territory to achieve a minimum of 10% market penetration within ten years, thus providing Ecogensus with a minimum of $340 million in revenues plus ongoing perpetual royalties. This rapid deployment of the Rhino technology will provide the UK with a much-needed solution to unlock the, sought after, circular economy, and will stand as a reference territory for the roll out across the European Economic Area.
