Major signings, new content, and strong tournament performances drive momentum.

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / June 8, 2026 / With the world's most famous poker series already underway in Las Vegas, Americas Cardroom marked a significant week for the site with the addition of three new Pros, the launch of Chris Moneymaker's WSOP vlog series and several strong performances at the 2026 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Earlier this week, Americas Cardroom announced the signing of Alex Foxen, Chance Kornuth and Chris Hunichen, strengthening a Pro roster that already includes icons like Chris Moneymaker and Chris Moorman.

One of the new additions quickly made his presence felt at the WSOP. Foxen delivered one of the strongest results of the summer to date, finishing fourth in Event #7: $25,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship and earning $300,000.

Foxen is widely recognized as one of poker's premier tournament competitors. He earned consecutive Global Poker Index Player of the Year honors in 2018 and 2019 and has won multiple WSOP bracelets during his career.

Away from the tables, Americas Cardroom expanded its player-focused content offerings with the launch of Moneymaker's new vlog series on his official YouTube channel. The series provides behind-the-scenes coverage of life at the WSOP, including tournament preparation and day-to-day experiences throughout the series.

Moneymaker also recorded an early cash finish, placing 12th in WSOP Event #8: $1,500 Badugi for $7,095.

"The summer is always a grind, but it's also the most exciting time of the year for poker," said Moneymaker. "There are so many great WSOP events still to come, including the Main Event. I'm looking forward to making some more deep runs and sharing the journey with fans."

Americas Cardroom Pro Rob Kuhn added another result to the team's week, earning $23,712 with a 15th-place finish in WSOP Event #16: $1,700 U.S. Circuit Championship No-Limit Hold'em.

With dozens of bracelet events still remaining on the schedule, Americas Cardroom Pros will continue competing throughout the summer as the WSOP progresses toward its marquee events.
