In its third year of participating, University of Phoenix donated 50 meals and volunteers from the Office of Military and Veteran Affairs and Veterans’ Employee Resource Group (ERG) joined in helping package and distribute meals.

“Holidays can be a challenging time for veterans and their families, and University of Phoenix is honored to work closely with Arizona Heroes to Hometowns on this important effort to support families,” states Eric Ryan, senior director of the Office of Military and Veteran Affairs and a veteran of the Marine Corps.

Since 2008, AZ Heroes to Hometowns has served over 20,000 Arizona military families with a Thanksgiving dinner.
