Michael Collins will transition to Easterly’s Head of Business Development
Easterly Asset Management (“Easterly”), a multi-affiliate platform for high-performing boutique investment firms, announced the appointment of Phil (PJ) Juliano, Jr. as its Head of Sales. In conjunction with the announcement, Michael Collins will transition into a newly created position as Easterly’s Head of Business Development, where he will focus on Easterly’s exclusive distribution partnership with Harrison Street and identify other opportunities to expand the company’s Affiliate and Privates platform.

Mr. Juliano’s extensive experience crafting effective sales strategies and leading sales teams will further drive Easterly’s vision to provide investors access to a portfolio of solutions managed by high quality boutique portfolio managers.

Before joining Easterly, Mr. Juliano was a Managing Director and Head of the BlackRock iShares U.S. Asset Manager Group, where he was responsible for sales and distribution of iShares and BlackRock solutions to global asset managers, hedge funds, and boutique wealth managers. He was an executive member of the iShares Institutional team setting sales strategy, business planning, talent management and budget. Mr. Juliano managed the iShares Canada Asset Manager Team from 2016 to 2018 and led the creation of iShares’ Institutional Model Portfolio strategy. Prior to BlackRock, Mr. Juliano was an Executive Director with MSCI and Head of New England Index Sales from 2006 to 2014. He was responsible for index sales to institutional clients, ETP licensing and relationship management across index and risk products globally for Fidelity and State Street. Previous to his tenure at MSCI, he was a partner at Michael Gold Associates and spent four years with UBS Financial Services on the securities lending desk. He began his career in New York on Morgan Stanley’s municipal bond desk. He holds the FINRA Series 24, 7 and 63 licenses.
