The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into EFS Advisors LLC with respect to their recent data breach. On or about February 22, 2024, EFS Advisors LLC detected it was the target of a data security incident in which an unauthorized third party attempted to infiltrate its computer network. Upon detecting the incident, EFS Advisors LLC moved quickly to secure its network environment and launched a thorough investigation. The investigation determined that the incident resulted from a zero-day vulnerability in a software program used by an external IP provider. The following information was exposed: individuals name and Social Security number.
