Also listed in the report capabilities are overlay technologies that provide automated remediation—delivering a more accessible layer of code on top of source code—and browser-based personalization tools. Gartner notes that overlay technologies “can serve as a temporary measure or a first step toward making a website more accessible, particularly for small businesses or organizations with limited resources to undertake a complete accessibility overhaul.”
