The Orange County Business Journal recognizes Toshiba America Business Solutions leaders, Matt Bull and Maegan Lujan as 2025 Innovator of the Year nominees.
A technology authority with more than two decades of expertise, Matt Bull drives innovation in business intelligence and managed services at Toshiba. As its director of services programs, he develops industry-leading technologies supporting Toshiba's managed print as a service, e-commerce, artificial intelligence and cloud-based solutions.
Bull is known for delivering consistent and measurable improvements in operational efficiency, analytics adoption, and client satisfaction throughout his 13 years at Toshiba. Testament to his innovativeness, he was recently named inventor on the patent for Toshiba's Encompass Tag and Asset Generator™ (eTAG™) product, which simplifies the tedious asset tagging process for businesses of all sizes.
A recreational swimmer, Bull is a certified USA Swimming referee who regularly volunteers his time at local and regional swim meets to support youth development and athletic excellence.
Maegan Lujan’s journey from at-risk youth to respected leader and community changemaker is a testament to vision, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership. At just 14 years old, she boldly left the foster care system to move to Orange County with a singular goal: build a successful life in business.
Since joining Toshiba in 2012, Lujan has risen through the ranks to serve as director of solutions and services, where she leads global go-to-market strategy with a focus on innovation, growth, and strategic partnerships. With influence beyond the boardroom, Lujan is an enthusiastic advocate for personal development and inclusive opportunity at every level.
Lujan serves on the executive committee of the Orangewood Foundation, a leading nonprofit supporting youth in the child welfare system. In this role, she directs monthly volunteer initiatives and champions large-scale fundraising events to further the organization’s mission. Recognized with multiple local and national honors, Lujan is one of Orange County’s most dynamic voices for corporate and community impact.
"Matt and Maegan are true innovators as well as inspiring leaders for Team Toshiba," states Toshiba America Business Solutions President and Chief Executive Officer Larry White. "While Matt and Maegan both establish the bar for success within their departments, they just as importantly benefit our community in countless ways."
