What Happened?

On August 4, 2026, Tigo announced second quarter 2026 financial results, including that the Company was cutting income projections for 2026 by approximately 20.8% at the midpoint, citing major delays in the execution of the partnership with EG4 Electronics. The Company further revealed that it did not expect to see volume shipments pursuant to the agreement ramp up until the fourth quarter of 2026.

On this news, Tigo stock fell $0.75 per share or 36.76%, to close at $1.29 per share on August 5, 2026, thereby injuring investors.

What Is The Lawsuit About?

The complaint filed in this class action alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material adverse facts about the Company’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants failed to disclose to investors that: (1) Tigo's revenue projections were based on the launch of its EG4 partnership and attendant revenue; (2) however, the EG4 partnership would not provide material revenue until Q4 2026 at the earliest; (3) therefore, there was no basis for the projections; and (4) as a result, defendants' statements about Tigo's business, operations, and prospects, were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.

If you purchased or otherwise acquired Tigo Energy, Inc. securities between February 24, 2026 and August 4, 2026, the deadline to seek appointment as the lead plaintiff in the securities fraud class action is November 23, 2026.
