Life Science Connect (LSC), a network of life science go-to-work solutions, today announced the appointment of Sandy Voss as Senior Vice President of Live Events. In this role, Ms. Voss will lead the continued evolution of LSC’s live and in-person experiences, expanding how the company brings its professional communities together beyond digital engagement.
LSC supports professional communities across the life sciences through digital media, data, and events. The company brings together industry stakeholders to share knowledge, surface emerging issues, and foster connection throughout long development and commercialization cycles. Live events extend this work by creating opportunities for in-person dialogue and collaboration.
“Life Science Connect has built deeply engaged communities rooted in trust and credibility,” said Ms. Voss. “Live events give us the opportunity to bring that connection into the room, creating shared experiences that reflect the same values our audiences expect online. I look forward to translating our foundation of connection, collaboration, and contribution into in-person moments that strengthen relationships and move the industry forward.”
Ms. Voss brings decades of experience building high-impact communities through conferences, exhibitions, and innovation networks. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer at SynBioBeta, helping to scale a global community for biological engineers, investors, and entrepreneurs. Prior to that, she spent several years at Informa as Senior Vice President of Operations, overseeing large, complex event portfolios and integrating multiple acquisitions. Earlier in her career, Ms. Voss spent 19 years at Penton, where she served as President of Exhibitions and Chief Operating Officer, leading centralized event strategy across more than 100 tradeshows and conferences annually.
“We are excited to welcome Sandy to LSC,” said Jon Howland, CEO of Life Science Connect. “Her leadership will help us expand our live event offerings in ways that feel intentional and aligned with our communities. Sandy’s presence will help create richer experiences and broaden our reach as we continue bringing together life science buyers and suppliers.”
LSC continues to evaluate acquisition and growth opportunities that support the expansion of its capabilities and extend its reach to new audiences across the life sciences. Organizations interested in exploring a potential acquisition or partnership may contact Jon Howland at jon.howland@lifescienceconnect.com.
