Dallas-Fort Worth hotels are on the upswing, with room-nights sold, occupancy and other indicators perking up in the second quarter. Despite improvement in some categories, the side effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the hotel industry linger in DFW and across the state, according to hotel industry executives and analysts.
