NYC police 'deeply concerned' about subway assaults on workers, cops as violent transit crime uptick persists

At least 45 NYC workers and police officers have been assaulted in the subways in 2022, while stabbing and slashing attacks on straphangers have jumped more than 70% year-to-date, officials said Monday.
