Visualping Brings Action Recording and One-Click AI Monitoring to Its Chrome Extension

VANCOUVER, B.C. - Visualping, the world's leading website change detection platform used by teams at 85% of Fortune 500 companies, has released a major update to its Chrome extension, bringing action recording, one-click AI-powered cloud monitors, a smoother login experience, and more reliable monitoring to its more than 100,000 extension users.

The Visualping Chrome extension lets users set up change alerts without leaving the page they're on. Just click the extension, choose how often checks should run, and tell Visualping what to watch.

It's a quick way to keep an eye on updates without opening another tab, and the latest release makes it faster and easier to set up monitors for even the most complex pages.

Users can now record actions directly in the extension, such as clicking, scrolling, logging in, or navigating, so Visualping captures the page exactly as they want it to appear. Whether that means dismissing a popup, selecting a specific product option, or getting past a login screen, users record the steps once and Visualping repeats them on every check.

“Setting up page monitoring used to mean configuring everything by hand,” said Matthew Fane, Head of Product at Visualping. “Now you just show us what you care about. You can record the steps once, or let our AI build the monitor in a single click. We’re moving toward a world where you never have to remember to check a page again, and never miss an update that matters.”

Local monitoring, which runs checks right in the user’s own browser, is now faster and more reliable, making it ideal for pages that are personalized, geo-specific, or behind a login.

And for pages that need round-the-clock coverage, users can now create a cloud monitor in a single click: Visualping’s AI analyzes the page and configures a sophisticated monitor automatically without any setup required from the user.

Together, the improvements make the extension easier to use and bring it more in line with the Visualping dashboard experience, making it easier than ever for users to track price drops, job postings, competitor pages, and policy updates.

The new Visualping Chrome extension is available now on the Chrome Web Store at https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/visualping-website-change/pemhgklkefakciniebenbfclihhmmfcd. Existing users will receive the update automatically.
