He helped steward the product from its early stages through significant growth, building not only the platform but the organization around it.

During an interview with Marquis Who's Who, Mr. Labieniec shared that while he was at Amazon, he led two computer science bootcamps in partnership with the University of Connecticut. Several students he mentored later advanced into senior engineering roles at Amazon or founded their own technology ventures. For Mr. Labieniec, investing in the next generation of engineers has been one of the most rewarding parts of his professional journey.

His entrepreneurial background is equally significant. Mr. Labieniec held an equity position at OrderGroove and founded Snapwire, a startup that partnered with BMW Group to develop ParkNow, one of the earliest parking applications of its kind. The project involved collaborating with engineers at BMW's headquarters in Munich. Snapwire secured several million dollars in venture funding and culminated in an acquisition by BMW Group.

Earlier, at age 26, Mr. Labieniec founded Green Arrow Interactive, a Connecticut-based agency that raised $250,000 in angel funding and served insurance and financial services clients. After the company was acquired, he became vice president of engineering at the acquiring firm. In 2005, he was awarded a provisional patent for an early mobile-to-web video streaming platform, years before live streaming became commonplace.

Speaking with Marquis Who's Who, Mr. Labieniec described artificial intelligence as the defining transformation in technology today, comparing the current moment to the shift from VHS to DVD. "AI will segment engineers into specialized roles, similar to mechanics or doctors," he said. "Still, engineers won't work on just one area because machines excel at machine code, freeing humans to focus on creativity. I see this as a positive: now I can focus on the product." He added that creativity leads to innovation.

Beyond technology, Mr. Labieniec is the founder of Forage Healing, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to natural healing education, herbalism, whole-food wellness and community support. The organization grew from the personal loss of both of his parents, renewed faith and a desire to help families better understand health, stewardship and natural living. Its mission is grounded in daily practice: he and his wife, Sarah, steward a 13-acre working homestead in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, where regenerative grazing, a small A2 dairy herd and seasonal foraging serve as a living classroom for the families the organization serves.

He is also building Forage Academy, an educational program integrating faith, classical learning and care for the land. Operating as a church-related umbrella school under Forage Healing, the academy is built for homeschooling families who want academic rigor and spiritual formation held together with real stewardship of the land.

Mr. Labieniec sees this as his way of giving back. "I'd love to help empower people to take risks," he said. "I come from nothing-once homeless and very poor." His selflessness, drawn from his faith, is integral to who he is as a human being.
