New division separates AR services and medical services from Lazar’s marketing agency work, giving independent practices a dedicated point of contact for claims and revenue cycle support.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Adil Lazar has launched a standalone medical billing division aimed specifically at independent, small healthcare practices that do not have the budget or volume to justify a full in-house billing department.

Operating independently of Lazar’s digital marketing agency, the division will concentrate solely on medical billing, coding, and accounts receivable work for practices utilizing platforms like CareCloud, eClinicalWorks, and OfficeAlly. This work will include claim submission, denial follow-up, payment posting, and revenue cycle reporting. According to Lazar, the division was deliberate because, after managing billing for a few practices alongside his marketing customers for a number of years, he discovered that the two businesses were drawing distinct kinds of clientele with varying expectations and concluded that each should have its own dedicated organization.

“Marketing and billing are two entirely different conversations,” Adil Lazar said. “A practice owner asking about Google Ads wants growth. A practice owner asking about the AR somehow wishes to stop losing money that’s already theirs. Trying to run both under one general ‘agency’ umbrella made it more challenging for people to know what they were really calling me for. Separating them surely makes it clear what this is.”

The new division is primarily targeted at solo practitioners and small clinics, such as dental offices, physical therapy offices, chiropractic offices, and similar outpatient specialties, that are too small to hire a dedicated billing staff member but too busy for the office manager or practice owner to properly handle claims on top of everything else. According to Lazar, larger billing businesses that emphasize higher-volume practices or use the same standardized approach regardless of specialty often underserve this part of the healthcare market.

“A ten-provider practice and a solo chiropractor do not have the same billing issues, but a lot of billing companies treat them the same way,” Lazar stated. “I am doing this as a separate division instead of integrating it into a larger business to prevent it from happening. Rather than handling the practices I’m using from a dashboard, I wanted to understand them truly.”

New-patient eligibility verification, claim scrubbing and submission, rejection management and appeals, payment posting, and monthly AR reporting are among the services offered under the new division. Onboarding will be based on each practice’s current software rather than requiring a platform transition. Instead of a fixed monthly charge, Lazar stated that pricing will be based on claim volume, which he claimed is more practical for smaller offices with varying patient volumes.

The launch coincides with Lazar’s ongoing professional development in the field; he is a Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist and is presently pursuing a medical aid degree at Ensign College. The timing, he claimed, is a result of both that credentialing and an increase in the number of billing-only questions he had been answering apart from his marketing clients.

“I kept getting calls from practices who found me through the marketing side but didn’t really want ads or a website. They just wanted help with claims. And at a certain point, it stopped making sense to keep that folded into a marketing agency’s service list. It needed its own focus and its own name.”

The medical billing division is now accepting new practices in Salt Lake City and throughout Utah, with initial account reviews offered to help practices identify where their current claim procedure is losing revenue or time.
