FREDERICTON, NB: Melanson Law is a personal injury firm serving New Brunswick and the surrounding area. Today, it has announced two new changes to its firm: The hiring of a new articling student and a contract signed with Supio for personal injury AI.

Keisha Mitchell is a new articling student who began working at Melanson Law on May 4th, 2026. Prior to her work at the firm, she was a student at the University of New Brunswick. Last summer, Keisha provided complimentary legal advice to tenants at pop-up clinics across the province with PLEIS New Brunswick and the UNB Legal Clinic. During her time as a student, she also did pro bono research through Pro Bono Students of Canada on tenancy law and human rights.

"We are thrilled to have Keisha as a part of our team," said Jessica Melanson, lawyer and partner at Melanson Law. "Articling students are essential to the growth of our profession, and we look forward to the contributions that she is sure to make to our firm."

Melanson Law has also recently signed a contract with Supio, a company that develops AI-powered legal software for personal injury firms. Supio helps firms establish filterable, searchable medical chronologies, find critical case insights, and capture key details about cases, while keeping details secure.

"AI is not a replacement for human understanding, experience, and care," said Melanson. "The goal of integrating this platform into our work is to better manage cases, gain insights, and to find new ways to help our clients. We believe Supio will improve our processes, and we look forward to seeing how it performs."

For over thirty years, Melanson Law of New Brunswick has been helping people in New Brunswick with motor vehicle accident and injury claims. It has represented people at the trial, appellate, and Supreme Court of Canada levels. It focuses on personal injury cases, including denial of benefits, fatal accidents and wrongful death, pedestrian accidents, bicycle accidents, motorcycle accidents, medical malpractice, slip and falls, car accidents, truck accidents, and product liability cases.
