Houston, Texas – Gustin Law Firm of Houston announced that attorney Charlie Gustin has been admitted to practice law in both the New Mexico and Arizona state bars, expanding the firm’s ability to represent clients across a wider portion of the Southwest.

The dual admissions position the Houston-based firm to handle matters that span Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, particularly for clients whose business, family, or property interests cross state lines. The move reflects a growing demand for legal services that account for differing state laws in areas such as commercial disputes, real estate, probate, and cross-border transactions.

“In recent years, we have seen more clients whose legal needs do not stop at the Texas border,” Gustin said. “Being admitted in New Mexico and Arizona allows us to follow those matters where they actually occur and address issues under the laws of each state more directly.”

Admission to the New Mexico and Arizona bars involves separate applications and character-and-fitness processes, as well as testing or other eligibility requirements specific to each jurisdiction. By completing those steps in both states, Gustin is positioned to advise on state-specific procedures and to file cases directly in courts where disputes arise.

The firm noted that it will continue to evaluate where its clients face recurring legal issues and consider additional licensing or collaborations as needed. For now, the focus will be on integrating the New Mexico and Arizona admissions into existing client services and ensuring that multi-state matters are handled with attention to the distinct legal frameworks of each state.
