Exclusive Data Distribution Continues till 2027-28 Season

Genius Sports Limited (NYSE: GENI) and the National Football League (NFL) have announced the extension of their multi-year strategic partnership, which will now continue through the 2027-28 season. Genius Sports will carry on as the exclusive distributor of the NFL’s live game data, Next Gen Stats (NGS), and official sports betting data feed to global media and sports betting operators.

Extending Reach in Digital Advertising, Integrity Monitoring, and Live Video Feeds

The extended agreement grants Genius Sports exclusive rights to distribute digital advertising inventory, NFL marks and logos to global sportsbooks, and NFL low latency Watch & Bet live game video feeds to international sportsbooks. It also encompasses integrity monitoring services for all NFL games. A separate extension allows Genius Sports to distribute NFL’s Watch & Bet live game video feeds to U.S. sportsbooks.

Driving Fan Engagement with Official NFL Data

The partnership expansion follows the successful launch and integration of official NFL data within the sports betting, media, and broadcast sectors. Genius Sports now powers over 98% of the legalized U.S. sports betting market using official NFL data. The official NGS data feed from the NFL has significantly impacted the fan experience, enabling the development of new betting forms and enhancing NFL broadcasts.

Powering Enhanced Viewing Experiences

Genius Sports will start to distribute NFL’s Watch & Bet live game video feeds to sportsbooks in the U.S. and Canada from the 2023-24 season onwards. Leveraging machine learning and live streaming technologies, Genius Sports plans to deliver enhanced viewing experiences for NFL fans through Watch & Bet and its augmented live video betting products.

Delivering Interactive Fan Engagement Tools

Genius Sports also offers the NFL, and its member clubs, a range of interactive fan engagement tools. These services aim to broaden the NFL’s global audience and increase their understanding of the modern football fan.
