SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / June 3, 2026 / Americas Cardroom Pro Alex Foxen recorded an early milestone at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP), finishing fourth in Event #7: $25,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship and earning $300,000.

Foxen's result marks one of the first major achievements since joining the Americas Cardroom professional roster. Competing in one of the series' most prestigious high buy-in tournaments, he advanced deep into a field featuring many of poker's top players.

"Alex is one of the toughest players in poker, and results like this are exactly why everyone pays attention when he's in the field," said Chris Moneymaker, Americas Cardroom Pro and 2003 WSOP Main Event champion. "It's great to have someone with his talent and drive representing Americas Cardroom."
Foxen entered Americas Cardroom with an extensive record of tournament success. He earned back-to-back Global Poker Index Player of the Year honors in 2018 and 2019 and has secured multiple WSOP bracelets during his career.

Among his notable accomplishments are a victory in the 2022 WSOP $250,000 Super High Roller for $4.56 million and a win in the 2024 Triton Main Event at WSOP Paradise worth $3.85 million.

Foxen's latest WSOP result adds an immediate headline finish for one of Americas Cardroom's newest professional signings.

The Americas Cardroom pro roster also includes Moneymaker, whose 2003 WSOP Main Event victory helped fuel the modern poker boom. At the 2026 WSOP, Moneymaker recently placed 12th in Event #8: $1,500 Badugi, earning $7,095.

With multiple notable performances already recorded, Americas Cardroom continues to generate momentum during the opening weeks of the 2026 World Series of Poker.
