Marquis Who's Who Honors Stella Azulay for Excellence in Consumer Advocacy and Digital Leadership

UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / July 29, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors Stella Azulay for her excellence in consumer advocacy and digital leadership.

Every day, people are hit with surprise medical bills, unexpected fees and fraudulent charges they don't know how to fight. Seniors are especially vulnerable, often targeted by scams or overwhelmed by complex billing systems. Ms. Azulay believes no one should feel powerless in the face of bureaucracy and has made it her mission to change that.

A New Mission Built on Lived Experience

Ms. Azulay spent over 15 years in digital product management, helping global companies navigate transformation and lead with empathy. However, her focus has now shifted toward something more personal and urgent. She's dedicating her time to helping everyday people, especially seniors, protect themselves from scams and financial exploitation.

After her husband's small business became the victim of a cyber scam, Ms. Azulay saw firsthand how frustrating and confusing it can be to fight back. "I went through hours of calls, paperwork and dead ends," she says. "And I realized: if I'm struggling with this-someone who understands systems and can tell right from wrong-how is anyone else supposed to stand a chance?" That experience ignited a spark within her.

Today, Ms. Azulay is writing a book and designing workshops that provide people with the tools to challenge unfair billing, identify fraud and safeguard their money and their peace of mind.

Empowering Others Through Knowledge

Ms. Azulay's book, "You Versus the Bill: How to Beat the Healthcare System at Its Own Game," is a step-by-step guide for individuals overwhelmed by hidden fees and denied insurance claims. The tone is practical and hopeful, a blend of education and encouragement.

"This isn't just about fixing bills," Ms. Azulay explains. "It's about restoring dignity. Knowing your rights. And realizing you don't need a legal team to stand up for yourself." Her upcoming workshops will extend that mission, focusing on scam prevention, financial exploitation, medical bill reviews and self-advocacy in assisted living communities.

From Digital Product Leader to Advocate for Justice

Though Ms. Azulay recently left her role at Ernst & Young, her years in corporate product leadership shaped her approach. She has always believed in connecting business goals with human needs. "You can have all the data and design in the world, but if people don't feel heard or empowered, it doesn't matter."

Ms. Azulay's past roles at Coca-Cola, Home Depot and EY taught her how to bridge technical complexity with empathy. But now she wants to use those same skills to serve others more directly. "I believe God placed this mission on my heart. And every step in my career prepared me to walk it."

Faith, Values and the Power of Mentorship

Ms. Azulay credits her success to her faith, the values instilled during her upbringing, and the many individuals she quietly observed and learned from along the way. "I never had traditional mentors," she says. "But I watched people who live with strength and integrity. I studied them and modeled their examples."

That same down-to-earth approach shows up in Ms. Azulay's coaching. "Confidence isn't being loud," she explains. "It's knowing who you are and living your values. It's about growth, not comparison."

Ms. Azulay's advice to other women in tech is to stay grounded, keep evolving and don't let fear or status define your worth.

Looking Ahead with Purpose

Ms. Azulay isn't looking for the next big job title. She's searching for more opportunities to make a difference, to "restore hope and remind people that they're not powerless." Whether she's hosting a workshop or helping someone one-on-one, Ms. Azulay's goal remains the same: to lift others with knowledge and grace.

"I came to this country as an immigrant with no idea what was possible," Ms. Azulay recalls. "Now I see every challenge as a chance to serve. And I walk forward with humility, clarity and faith."

With her heart set on justice, Ms. Azulay continues to build a legacy rooted not in titles but in impact. Her story is a reminder that true leadership begins with the courage to uplift others.
