Nauta Raises $7M to Modernize Global Logistics with AI

Led by Construct Capital, the funding accelerates the development of Nauta’s AI-powered logistics orchestration platform, built to help importers take data-driven action

Nauta, the AI-powered logistics orchestration platform for importers, today announced $7 million in seed funding led by Construct Capital and Predictive. Nauta is positioned to transform global logistics for stakeholders across the value chain with AI, starting with importers. Global logistics faces rising complexity from supply chain reorientation and fragmentation, tariff volatility, and climate-related disruptions. Despite trillions of dollars in goods moving each year, importers still rely on emails, spreadsheets, and siloed, legacy systems to track and manage intermodal, global shipments at the container level, leaving them without the control that is now made possible with AI.

Co-founded by Valentina Jordan, who led product and engineering teams at logistics unicorn Rappi, and Rafael Santiago, who led one of the preeminent importing logistics companies in the Caribbean, Nauta addresses this opportunity by equipping importers who own, generate, and manage this data, with an AI-powered, single source of truth and control center. With its flexible, agentic capabilities, Nauta automates routine workflows, gives importers the control they need to grow margins, and drives agile, data-driven actions.

“Nauta is built by and for operators,” said Valentina Jordan, CEO and co-founder of Nauta. “We truly understand the variability in their day-to-day work and are focused on helping them control the controllable. In logistics, every container tells its own story, but the systems involved rarely speak the same language. With AI, Nauta helps companies make faster, more proactive decisions about every shipment, reducing risk, improving cash flow, and growing margins.”

Since its launch in Q1 2025, Nauta is now servicing importers in seven countries and works with leading distributors of globally-recognized brands, including New Balance, Ashley Furniture HomeStore, L'Oréal, Modelo, Moët & Chandon and others. With Nauta’s platform, importers have reduced detention costs by up to 80 percent, increased operator productivity by 30 percent, and improved container processing times by 75 percent. In addition to the institutional funds, participation in this round includes angel investors Simón Borrero (CEO and co-founder, Rappi), Waikit Lau (Founder, RemoteHQ), and Juan Jose Gonzales (CEO, Windmar Energy) as well as a range of early Nauta customers and partners including Soriana, one of the largest retailers across the Americas.

“Supply chains don’t just move goods, they also move data and money,” said Camila Saruhashi, Partner at Construct Capital. “That complexity increases significantly with cross-border shipments, where every touchpoint adds layers of documentation, compliance, and coordination. With so many stakeholders and systems involved, Nauta’s AI platform is well-positioned to bring structure and visibility to this vital process, connecting the dots between every node, from manufacturers to ports to warehouses.”

Global Trade Requires AI-Native Solutions

In 2024, U.S. trade in goods surpassed $5.3 trillion, with imports from Asia and Latin America alone exceeding $2.3 trillion. Food distributors and CPG companies are especially vulnerable, navigating demand fluctuations, delivery delays, and cost volatility with tools ripe for evolution. According to McKinsey, over 70 percent of supply chain leaders say they’ve had to reconfigure their global footprint in the past 12 months, yet most teams are still stuck reacting to issues after they’ve already occurred.

“Importers don’t just need visibility, they need the power to act before problems occur,” said Rafael Santiago, COO and co-founder of Nauta. “We built Nauta because we lived through the pain of fragmented information and manual workflows prone to costly mistakes. Operators deserve modern AI tools that anticipate issues and enable action at the speed of trade.”

The new capital will accelerate Nauta’s global expansion. The company is actively recruiting sales and partnerships talent; interested candidates can visit www.getnauta.com.
