A one-of-a-kind mountain coaster in Pigeon Forge has plans to open in the spring of 2025! The Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster is the only mountain coaster in the United States with side-by-side racing tracks, bringing an interactive and competitive experience to the Smoky Mountain area.

The Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster is designed for competitive fun for all ages. Not only are there dual tracks, but there are also future plans for timed races and leaderboards to enhance the competitive nature of the attraction, as everyone will race for the top spot. This first-of-its-kind mountain coaster in Pigeon Forge aims to revolutionize the mountain coaster experience for both visitors and locals alike. There are photos to capture the excitement and speed control for customized rides. After the grand opening, the attraction plans to take rider videos in addition to photos, capturing the experience on film for guests to share with friends and family.
To enhance guests' thrills, adventure and safety, the Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster is installing a $400,000 lighting package that includes everything from LEDs to flashing lights. The energetic, colorful and engaging lighting design for this mountain coaster in Pigeon Forge is unlike anything else in the area. Other highlights of the attraction include three adrenaline-pumping 360-degree turns, an 80-foot-high double 360, a cross-over bridge, multiple drops and more. It’s expected to be the most thrilling ride in the Smokies!
This new mountain coaster will reach exciting speeds with state-of-the-art safety controls for a smooth and thrilling ride for everyone who hops in the driver’s seat. There are ride restrictions in place for safety, including a weight limit of 375 lbs in dry conditions and 330 lbs in wet conditions. To ride solo, the driver must be at least 56” tall. To ride with a friend or family member, the driver must be 16 years old and at least 56” tall, and the passenger must be at least 3 years old and 38” tall.
The Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster is conveniently located in the heart of Pigeon Forge, TN. It sits at the last traffic light in Pigeon Forge, just minutes from Gatlinburg, making it an easy drive from all major cities in the Smoky Mountain area.
